Development of direct sources of supply, locally and internationally
Conducting weekly price negotiations independently
Support for production, continuous contact with small producers
Develop meat selection and sourcing strategy
Working closely with colleagues from other teams and departments (marketing, quality,
supply chain, finance, warehouse operations)
Keeping up to date with the market situation
Monitoring current prices and competitors
Preparation of sales plans based on analyses and evaluations

Requirements

You have worked in a purchasing or category buyer position in the Meat field for 3-5 years
You have good negotiation skills
You can communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments, especially marketing, supply chain, quality, finance, and warehousing
You are ready to face the challenge of a newly formed, rapidly expanding company
You have new ideas and are actively looking for opportunities to improve the category you manage
You are an expert at spreadsheets
you have active, confident knowledge of English (Italian and Spanish language is an advantage)
You have a degree
