Social Pedagogue/Social Worker – HCPC registration required
This job is for a social pedagogue/social worker with 2 years+ post qualification experience. The role is to support carers, their families and young people who have profound disabilities. Some children and young people are in palliative care with foster carers.
Working knowledge of Fostering Regulations Minimum Standards 2011 and of the Children Act 1989 and legislation relating to family placements is needed. This organisation is interested in growing an understanding of social pedagogy and part of your role might include some awareness-raising training and practice development.
